Michel Damian is a professor at Pierre Mendes France University
University and an associate researcher at LEPII.

The areas of interest of his recent papers and publications are international trade and sustainable development, environmental and ecological economics, international governance in the field of sustainable development, and economics of climate change.

He has worked on the economics of nuclear power.

Michel Damian teaches environmental economics and industrial organisation at the Department of Economics of the University of Grenoble.

He was in 2004-2005 the director of the Department of environmental management at Senghor University, Alexandria, Egypt.
