My research activity explores via behavioral and fMRI approaches, the hemispheric specialization, inter-hemispheric interaction and the cerebral correlates for several language and memory operations, according to several intrinsic and extrinsic variables. This question is addressed in healthy subjects and patients. The main objective of my Phd is to identify behavioral, cognitive and anatomo-functional determinants of various reorganization patterns. My Phd concerned the assessment of plasticity in patient with intractable epilepsy (before and after surgery). These results may allow for the development of new tools and methods for language and memory impairment remediation.
